Hello curiosers! This week has passed by so fast I can't even believe it's Friday already. I've been sewing new things that will be revealed at the right time. If you feel you need a sneak peak go to my Facebook page or checkout Tumblr for daily updates. I'm also re-taking pictures of the accessories I've got for sale at the storenvy store; I'm planning on doing a post on how they looked before and after and may I add that the new pictures are so much better. But enough with the bull shit let's here some jams.

Glitter and Ghouls

I recently noticed on Facebook that an old friend of mine is making accessories again. I couldn't resist and immediately had to share her talent with you guys. Her name is Ines and we went to beauty school together.

Inspired by tattoo flashes, horror movies and the day of dead she made unique bottle caps & charms that you can turn them into necklaces, bows, rings or whatever rocks-your-boat. She also does great bows and flowers using fabric, ribbon and felt.

Bow Bookmark!

One of my favorite things in the world are bows. Yes pretty little bows; I even have them tattooed. That's what got me inspired to do this handy bookmark.

Today I took some pictures of Mona, the crazy b. lab. Sometimes she's so lazy and other times insane. But always posing for pictures. What a model, I think she likes it.

It's Friday the 13th and it's also my 13th playlist. What a coincidence.

These days my hands has been smelling like melon thanks to that new pen I bought. In the meanwhile let's have some fun and listen to some music.

Agujas Mágicas.

Hello curios@s. Hope you have a great weekend! I've been lurking around for some info about hand embroidery and appliqué. I found this awesome page, Sublime Stitching, that I bet everyone who knows about embroidery had discovered it many years ago; well I

just found it and I love every pattern design in it! At some point I wanted to buy the Ultimate Embroidery Kit but I know so little that I decided to wait. Also tried to look for a book at Amazon but couldn’t determine which one I should get.

So, today I decided to ask my grandmother, because she has everything that could possibly exist when it comes to crafts & sewing. Rest assured, she knew exactly what I was talking about, had materials and even handed me a book. So I’m currently reading Agujas Mágicas which means Magic Needles and it explains pretty much what I was looking for. I’m crossing my fingers so I could at least do one project by the end of the week.

Things I need to do.

In no particular order.

1. Sew more.
2. Be more consistent with my blog.
3. Organize my materials (fabrics, buttons, patterns, etc.)
4. Organize my photos (Polaroids, fisheye pics, and instax mini)
5. Get rid of stuff I don't need.
6. Learn something new.
7. Get the bike train pass.
8. Clean my car more often.
9. Finally do the picnic I've been talking about for months.
10. Take more pictures.

I need to do all these things and more.

Yeah, I know. It's almost Tuesday. Remember that I told you I did some new things? Well here they are…and they are up for sale. Since summer it's swiftly approaching and I love nautical things I had to do these pretty flowers with stripe fabric and anchor buttons. They turned out quite lovely. I also did a purse but I need to fix it up before showing it off. So get your sailor dress and remember summer's hot, better get this cool accessories on your hair.
