Sew it's Friday already?

This week has passed extremely fast! I'm sorry for not sewing or updating at all but I've been quite busy working out (riding my bike), working (on my not so normal job) and fixing up the house. Since it's Friday and as I promised last week I'm bringing you a spanking new playlist! But before spitting it out, today my grandmother bought a magazine which I fell in love with; it's called "Do it yourself" and gives you some cute & easy to-do projects for your home & garden. This is the magazine's website if you are curious about it. I'm sure Miss Lou from eLousions will love this. (You guys should check her fantastic blog). And of course I'll be trying some of those projects for my new home. In the meantime let's blast some audio!

Sew what's your playlist?

I love listening to music, like everyone else in the world. I mean who doesn’t? It gets you through difficult, happy, awkward and awesome times, it helps you escape from boredom and when you need to get some work done it makes it quite easier for you. Every time I’m working on a project I have to push that play button on my ipod. Occasionally I put it in shuffle and other times I create a playlist. The most important thing is that the song it’s playing maintains me in a good mood and doesn't make me screw things up.

So here’s a playlist that I compiled to help you finish that project. I’ll be doing this every Friday so make sure to check it out every week. Enjoy!

    Unstitching it's not so charming...

Everything in the craft world it’s not so fun when you are working on a project and get stuck on it because of sewing problems. I’m talking about unstitching. When you are developing a new piece and get all excited that somehow it managed to fail miserably. Maybe it went all wrong because of your emotions and it is inevitable to continue to work on it. For me unstitching it’s a task I hate to do.
That happened to me the other day and I decided to stop what I was doing, clear out my mind and went bike riding to El Paseo Lineal (Linear Park) that’s really close to my house. And I have to ask; what do you do when you realize that moment has just occurred? Do you unstitch or do something else?
